Brazil or Bust

So, I'm sitting here in Minnesota busyily trying to prepare everything for my 12 months in Brazil. That is considering I'm approved for my visa, which has been a frustrating endeavor in itself. The same question to different people seemed to almost always have a different answer. Anways, it WILL =) be mailed to me next week as I am in NYC visiting my older brother before I leave, or so I hope. If not I've decided to mail myself to Brazil haha.
I just found out yesterday that I will be hosted by a 23 year-old engineering student in Porto Alegre. From his e-mail it seems like we will get along perfectly. We will be living in an apartment together. I don't think I could have planned better living arrangements myself! Shoot-out to AIESEC-PA for hooking this up for me!
I now will be in NYC from June 9th til about June 20th, if I don't have to change any more flights =). I know there will be other @ers from Madison there during this time. So, we'll have to get together for a bash before we head our seperate ways!
